Dr. Satyabrata Dash has earned his Ph.D. in Management (Marketing) from Berhampur University in March 2008. He has done his MBA with the specialization of Marketing and also completed LLB. He has more than 18 years of experience in Teaching (includes 10 years of post doctoral experience) and 2 years in Industrial Sectors with a special interest to work in area of Academics. Currently serving as Principal with PGCMS, SMIT, Berhampur for the last 2 years. Prior to that he worked with DRIEMS Business School, Cuttack for the last 3 years, Sanjay Memorial Institute of Technology (P.G.C.M.S), Berhmapur, Odisha as Assistant Professor in Marketing for 4 years, Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET), Gunupur, Odisha as Lecturer in Marketing for 3 years with a versatility 2 years of experience with Indiacom Ltd. (SESA-SEAT), Hyderabad as Sales Executive and 1 year of Teaching experience as Guest Lecturer with NIAS, College of Business Administration (CBA), Berhampur, Odisha.
He has presented number of papers in both National and International level seminars and conferences, made publications of many articles in National and International Journals and participated different Training Programmes and Workshops. Apart from academic achievement, Dr. Dash has won several awards for extra-curricular events and competitions showing his versatile personality in Drawing, Painting, Singing and Sports.
Delivering lectures to students of MBA/ PGDM/ PGRM/ BBA on the wide range of subjects which includes Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Management of Principles and Practices, Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Services Marketing, Advertising Management, Brand Management, Sales and Distribution Management, Insurance Management, Business Law, Economic and Business Policy, Psychology.
